Elmhurst Approved for Green Deal
Elmhurst Energy makes history as the first wave of Green Deal approvals is announced.
Elmhurst Energy Systems Ltd, one of the UK’s leading energy rating organisations has been announced by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) as one of the first ‘approved’ Green Deal Advisor Certification Schemes.
In response to the approval by UKAS, Stephen O’Hara, Managing Director, Elmhurst Energy Systems Ltd comments ‘this is strong confirmation that we, as an independent organisation are fully equipped with a professional infrastructure and the technical expertise to deliver Green Deal Advisor training and certification.’
Elmhurst is keen to use its independent status to build partnerships with other approved Green Deal providers and installers to create a Green Deal solution that benefits all Green Deal stakeholders including the consumer. Elmhurst has already established links have already been developed with a number of national companies.
Elmhurst already has an impeccable background in energy rating certification and will extend its professional approach to the closely linked Green Deal Advisor Certification. Elmhurst will shortly release the details of its specialist UK wide Green Deal training programme which commences in July.
Elmhurst has also confirmed it will be entering its bid to Asset Skills for a share in the 1 million funding that is available to all Green Deal Advisor organisations. If successful, Elmhurst will be offering its advisor training to the industry at a substantial discounted rate to its members.
